The NHS Transformation Unit (TU) will be exhibiting at Confed18 in partnership with the Strategy Unit. Confed18 is the NHS Confederation’s annual conference and exhibition which this year is being held at Manchester Central on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th June. The TU and the Strategy Unit will be at stand number 41.
This year’s conference, in the NHS’s 70th anniversary year, will celebrate the past and consider the future of the health service, and the packed agenda will focus on the key themes of workforce and NHS transformation.
High profile speakers at this year’s event include: Simon Stevens, the chief executive of NHS England, Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP, the secretary of state for health and social care; Jon Ashworth MP, the shadow secretary of state for health and social care and Niall Dickson, the chief executive of NHS Confederation.
Alex Heritage, chief executive of the NHS Transformation Unit, said: “We are delighted to be joining Confed18, one of the most important events in the calendar. We are looking forward to welcoming delegates to our stand to discuss strategies, tools and techniques to help their organisations face the challenges of innovation and sustainability in the 70th year of the NHS.”
“It is especially exciting to share our stand with our partners, the Strategy Unit, with whom we have worked on a number of key transformation programmes with over the past year. Both the TU and the Strategy Unit are committed to applying our skills and expertise, from across the public, private and voluntary sectors, to support the NHS through the challenges of the future by finding innovative and practical solutions to deliver sustainable, positive change.”
