Why are you passionate about the NHS?

Some of my earliest memories involve NHS hospitals, dating back to when my younger brother was ill as a child. Over the years, and during recent hospital stays with both of my own children (who are thankfully now both fully recovered), I have been consistently inspired by the skill, dedication, professionalism, and overall the genuine care shown to me and my family by NHS health care professionals. I’m proud, through my current role, to support transformational changes which promote the NHS’s ongoing clinical and financial sustainability, thereby playing my part in securing the future of the NHS for many generations to come.
