Why are you passionate about the NHS?

I have worked in the public sector since I was 19, starting my career as a community health practitioner working with young people and young offenders. I have seen first-hand the importance and need for a strong and supportive NHS that provides direct support to individuals and communities when they most need it. I am also passionate about the role the NHS and public services have in providing opportunities for good employment and training which can be a powerful driver in strengthening and developing people and our communities.
